Taste The Difference

What makes Toss & Fire different?

At Toss & Fire, quality isn’t a buzzword — it’s the foundation of everything we do.

From the very beginning, our goal has been simple: make food we’re genuinely proud to serve. That means doing things the harder way, the right way, and often the in-house way. When you taste our food, you’re tasting intention, craftsmanship, and a commitment to never cutting corners.

Why Quality Matters

Great pizza starts long before it hits the oven. It starts with better ingredients, careful preparation, and people who care deeply about the final product. We believe quality shows up in every bite — in flavor, texture, and consistency — and it’s what separates good food from unforgettable food.

We don’t rely on shortcuts or pre-made products when we can make something better ourselves. It takes more time, more effort, and more attention to detail — and that’s exactly the point.

Dough Matters

Pizza is only as good as the dough beneath it — and we take ours seriously.

All of our doughs are made in-house, every single day, using only high-quality flours that are never bleached and never bromated. We believe better flour makes better dough, and better dough makes better pizza — with improved flavor, texture, and digestibility.

This commitment is the backbone of every style of pizza we serve.

What We Make In-House

To deliver the best possible experience, many of our key ingredients are made from scratch right here at Toss & Fire — and this list is only part of the story.

We make and prepare an incredible amount of our food in-house every single day, including:

  • All of our pizza doughs, made in-house using premium flours that are never bleached and never bromated

  • Fresh applewood-smoked bacon, cooked in-house for richer flavor and better texture

  • House-made dressings, including our ranch and blue cheese

  • Tomato sauces, made from quality California tomatoes and carefully seasoned

  • Basil pesto, blended fresh for bold, herb-forward flavor

  • Garlic butter, made in-house using real butter, garlic and fresh herbs.

  • Fresh vegetables cooked in-house, including:

    • Caramelized onions

    • Sautéed baby spinach

    • Mushrooms

  • Mashed salt potatoes, made in-house for our world-famous ’Cuse Salt Potato Pizza

  • Meatballs, crafted and cooked in-house for our pizzas and meatball appetizer.

  • Roasted peppers, done fresh for natural sweetness and char

  • Roasted chicken, cooked in-house for better flavor and juiciness

  • Croutons, made in-house for added crunch and freshness

  • Desserts, prepared with the same care as the rest of our menu

  • House-made appetizers, including our Risotto Bites and Fried Mozzarella

And that’s not everything.

Many of our prep methods, sauces, toppings, and components are made from scratch behind the scenes — because we believe the extra effort is always worth it.

These aren’t small details. They’re the building blocks of every pizza, salad, and dish we serve — and they’re exactly why Toss & Fire tastes different.

Fresh & Local, Whenever Possible

Whenever we can, we source fresh and local ingredients to support our community and ensure peak quality. Seasonal produce, trusted local partners, and thoughtfully sourced ingredients all play a role in how we build our menu. We love to partner with other small businesses to bring you great food.

More Than Just Pizza

Every decision we make — from our dough to our toppings to our sauces — is driven by one question: Does this make the food better? If the answer is yes, we do it. If it’s not, we don’t.

That’s the Toss & Fire difference.
And you can taste it.
